Suzi Marquess Long - migrated north from Santa Cruz after high school. When a career as a Xerox Technician in Hawaii didn't feel quite right to this natural born artist, she started WHIMSY WALLS and began painting murals all over Honolulu and then the San Francisco Bay Area during the '90s. Her murals put her into NEWSWEEK, SUNSET BOOKS and BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS in three different issues!
Now she runs her own art gallery (The World of Suzi Long) in a vintage watertower in Mendocino where, as keeper of the tower, she enlightens visitors with historical facts and sells enough art to remain in this incredibly beautiful place.
Suzi is a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast, and an Associate Member of the Pastel Society of America. Surviving breast cancer has given this artist an enormous sense of gratitude and purpose. Her beautiful paintings express her feelings of gratitude and her joie de vivre.
