The World of Suzi Long is a very exciting new gallery
in a watertower in Mendocino, California!

You MUST come visit when you're in the area!

Suzi Marquess Long started her art career as Whimsy Walls, a mural painter, in Honolulu in 1979.  After moving to the San Francisco Bay Area in the late '80's, Suzi became a minor celebrity painting residential and commercial murals.  She has been featured several times in Window & Wall Ideas magazine, Sunset Books, and most of the Bay Area newspapers.

Suzi began her pastel painting career in 2001 by winning Best of Show in the Napa Flyway Festival.  Her list of awards is truly impressive.  She is an associate member of the Pastel Society of America, and a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of  Oregon, the Pastel Society of the West Coast, and the Northwest Pastel Society.  Her work has been juried into national shows by all these associations, and she won the People's Choice award in the last PSO show.  She won the Purchase Award at the Lane County Fair in 2005, and International Artist included her in their recent book, 100 Ways To Paint a Landscape.

Suzi is a three-time breast cancer survivor, and will host a showing of Survivor's Art in her gallery in the fall.  Also on the calendar is a Plein Air Painters of Mendocino show planned for early December.
